Mexico City International Airport
Mexico City International Airport is located 8 miles (13 km) east of the historical city center. Considered one of the busiest airports in Latin America, Mexico City International Benito Juarez Airport is the nation's commercial flight gateway.
Recently expanded, the newest wing of Mexico City International Airport is a state-of-the-art extension of the east end of the airport. Nevertheless, due to the fact that the airport is exceeding its capacity already, the government is studying the possibility of building a new one near Tizacuya, Hidalgo, just to the north.
