Louisville International Airport
As a traveler through Louisville International Airport, you are witnessing a work in progress-- a $41 million terminal renovation, part of Louisville Regional Airport Authority's $220 million Capital Improvement Program. Upon completion, air travelers will enjoy additional safety and security enhancements, upgraded customer service amenities, expanded facilities and a 21st century ambiance!
The renovation is a comprehensive multi-phase, multi-year upgrade and expansion of the terminal and is slated for completion in 2005. A new Wyndham Airport hotel, which will be connected to the terminal, is scheduled for completion in 2006. The $33 million airport hotel will generate $12 million in revenue for completion of a $248 million voluntary residential relocation program.
Every effort will be made to minimize disruption to air travelers and greeters during construction.
